CHARGE HR ~ FitBit Model – This is our favorite FitBit Model

The Fitbit Charge HR Model is very comfortable to wear and the display is bright.  With just a flick of your wrist you can see your step count. The HR is another wrist gadget (it comes in various colors,) and a step up from the other Fitbits; it is an excellent tracker for people who run or work out vigorously.  Other than tracking sleep, calories, steps, active minutes, stairs climbed, etc., you can check phone notifications and it has a clock.  It also has a continuous heart rate monitor, as well as new “SmartTrack,” which monitors your workouts and records them in your Fitbit app.  We have found the heart rate monitor to be very reliable.

FITBIT ZIP

One of the least expensive trackers on the market, the Zip slips into your pocket or clips on your clothing/pocket/bra. It has a clock and tracks your steps, distance, and calories burned.   This is a great option for those that don’t want to wear a wristband. This fitbit uses a small watch battery so it does not need to be charged for at least 6 months!  This model is also waterproof.

FITBIT FLEX 2 (Also Perfect for beginners)

The Flex 2 is the newer and more slimmer version of the original Flex.  It’s actually the slimmest version they make. FITBIT CHARGE

The Charge is another tracker that you wear on your wrist. • Having a Fitbit has been a life changer. A friend suggested it to me in 2012 and I quickly found it to be addictive, motivating me to walk more every day by setting goals . The Fitbit Challenges are an integral part of keeping me on track . Having Fitbit friends has helped me to embrace a healthy lifestyle, one that includes clean eating. I love my Fitbit One! – Lisa
  • Having my Fitbit has given me a network of Friends I would have never found otherwise. The friendly competitions keep me motivated and pushing myself harder. The journey is easier with Fitbit and friends. – Deb
  • I’ve had a Fitbit One for about 1 1/2 years. During that time I’ve gone from a confirmed couch potato to a fit-minded person. The Fitbit encouraged me to move and moving led to exercise and exercise led to clean eating and all combined led to a healthy lifestyle for retirement. – Hilary

Because all of the data on your Fitbit is readily available, it creates a sense of urgency to complete the day’s goals. If your goal is to take 10,000 steps per day and at 5pm the data only shows 8,000, you’re much more likely to take a few laps around the neighborhood after dinner instead of sitting down on the couch!

Fitbit has one of the best apps from any fitness tracker and has been in the game long enough to build up a massive ecosystem. It syncs with a ton of different apps and has perhaps the very best social elements of any brand.
